What is CCRSPI?

The CCRSPI partnership initially co-invested to develop and implement a strategy identifying:

• collaborative research opportunities that assist primary industries to understand, and build capacity to meet, climate change mitigation and adaptation needs

This strategy was released in 2008 as the CCRSPI Phase 1 Report, along with two other scoping reports from specific CCRSPI supported projects.

In 2008-09, CCRSPI has committed funds to act on some of the recommendations in the Phase 1 Report.

The CCRSPI partners will be discussing the future of the program during this funding year, to move beyond in-principle support to full implementation of a body that can coordinate climate change research on behalf of its members.
